An outstanding church in port harcourt

Omega Power Ministries (OPM) has established itself as an outstanding ministry that started as a small church in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria and now has branches in more than 100 stations across the world.

But that is not what makes OPM unique. What defines our uniqueness is the testimonies that lives in the hearts of people (especially the less privileged in the society) that we have touched with our humanitarian and charity works as a ministry.

Many have wondered why we embark on these charity works. But one should not wonder much for as Christians we are deemed to live and act as Christ commanded us. So when we love, we showcase Christ’s love in us. We send a message of unconditional love such set in good examples by Jesus Christ throughout his days as a human on earth.

OPM understands the golden commandment has directed by Jesus Christ in Mathew 7:7-11 thus:

“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you: do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets…”

Here Jesus commanded us to show love to others. Love is the bond that defines humanity. Love is also the link that ties us to God for out of love Jesus Christ died for our sins.

Hence, OPM’s watchword is love. This is why the general overseer, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere embarks on massive charity and humanitarian works.

There is no gospel greater than the show of love. It speaks to the deaf and blind without words. We are a denomination defined by love to our fellow men and love to all.

In OPM’s charity outreach, we do not segregate among churches nor religion. We accept all humans as our brothers and sisters. We show love to all who are in need without bias of religious affiliations. We preach and practice love for all.

Our charity programs started in our headquarter city, the Doctor Jesus city, where our church in Port Harcourt, Rivers state began and now is going on across entire Nigeria.

Our emblem of love in seen in our activities as a religious body but it lives in the hearts of everyone single soul we have touched with kindness and love.
